The ability to think critically is essential for students.Speech sharpens learners' ability to articulate their views confidently and persuasively.Learners were given the topic"Traffic rules and road safety" and they were told to prepare a speech. By listening to their peers,they came to understand about the issue in detail.This will definitely help them in gaining confidence during public speaking.

According to Tony Ryan creative thinking can be exciting and enjoyable,this can then create a positive attitude towards the learning process.The stimulation of creativity in learning heightens the emotional link with that learning. We are living in an era of advertising and are being bombed by advertisements wherever we go.Ads tell us how to run life,how to be more socially acceptable and make us aware of the best products to use.Advertisements are delivered through radio,television,billboards,newspapers,internet, books and other sources.Learners understood the strategies used in advertisement and enjoyed the audio- video session.They tried using some strategies to create advertisements in order to persuade the audience to buy the products.

Learners of PYP 5 visited Dainik Bhaskar printing press to understand the process of creating awareness through the print media.They were acquainted with the various procedures that a newspaper has to undergo till it reaches the consumers.Learners were very enthusiastic during the visit as their queries were answered by the people responsible of the printing process and they got an opportunity to witness the details of printing process.

Learners were keen to listen to a senior faculty from DP Mr. Surendra Singh Chouhan who enlightened them with his words of wisdom.He explained about the responsible use of media and shared his views about media ethics.It was an interactive session and learners got an opportunity to satisfy their inquiring minds by asking some relevant questions.

Learners gathered information about different forms of media through books,class discussions videos and other online resources.They were then divided into groups to collaborate and present the gathered information.All the three groups worked democratically, shared the gathered information with each other and presented their understanding of the first line of inquiry through creative charts.A checklist was shared before they began their work in order to guide them with the required details to be included in the chart.
